Overview
env zero uses Infracost to estimate how much a change will cost before it's applied. Every plan shows the projected cloud spend, so reviewers can weigh the price of a change, not just its technical correctness, before approving it.
How it works
Enable cost estimation and env zero runs Infracost during each plan, comparing current and projected resource costs. The estimate appears in the deployment, and approval policies can even block changes that exceed a cost threshold.
